AGE IS JUST A NUMBER!

Two of our esteemed classmates have been inductied into the South High Hall of Fame: LESTER GARRETT, posthumously  (nominated by Bennie Swanson and Sheryl Hutchings)  and JOHN REINERT (nominated by Ruth Taravella).

This exciting and prestigious occasion took place on April 15, 2023, at the Pueblo Country Club.

The annual dinner and auction to recognize Hall of Fame recipients was the sixteenth in the tradition.  It is the number one fundraiser to support  students' needs at our alma mater.

Classmates Dine Together May 1 in Castle Rock

Unfortunately Mother Nature took charge on March 14 and forced us to cancel the class dinner we had planned for that date, but the good news is that  it was re-scheduled for Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. at La Loma Restaurant in Castle Rock.  A dozen classmates plus spouses and significant others dined together and enjoyed a pleasant early spring evening.

On August 23, 2023, pool side at Ruth Taravella's home, class members gathered to celebrate their 77th birthdays as a group.  It was a lovely day, and there were a few new faces in the group.  See if you can pick them out and identify them!

4The roundup of 1964 Colts took place on Friday, September 20, Saturday, September 21, and Sunday, September 22, 2024.  A total of 24 classmates gathered to celebrate 60 years since we graduated.  Please visit the AGE IS JUST A NUMBER page for complete details and loads of pictures from our reunion weekend.
